BiographyBecoming a part of Odonata brings together many of my hopes and visions for myself and the world at large. I want to be a part of the healing of the planet in so far as people can make a difference on a local level. I also crave the mutuality and interpersonal learning available in choosing to be with a group of people for “the long haul.” I come to Odonata with 10 years experience in organic farming, 5 of which were spent living in a farming community. I have worked in early childhood education and school counseling, and hold a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Currently my reason for being is to stay at home with Jeff’s and my two young children, Julia and Kai, the most inspiring and humbling effort I’ve undertaken in my life. Aside from my role as “hearth-keeper” for our family, I love networking with other moms to create opportunities to share expertise and assistance. I am part of a mom’s network in our current home town of Lowell, MA, and get together with other moms daily. Things that make me happy include Waldorf education, beadwork and craftiness in general, gluten-free cooking, and gardening. jesse@odonatavillage.org |
